Notice is hereby given that on December 30, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at the Village of North Utica Village Clerk’s Office, 801 S. Clark St., Utica, IL 61373, a Lottery will be held to determine placement on the Ballot for the Consolidated Election being held on April 6, 2021. A Lottery will be held for each of the following Offices:

• Office of Village President
• Office of Village Board Trustee

All Candidates who arrived and were in line seeking to file their Statements of Candidacy and nominating Petitions with the North Utica Village Clerk at 8:00 a.m. on December 14, 2020, will be placed in a Lottery drawing to determine their placement on the Ballot for the April 6, 2021 Consolidated Election. The Lottery will be conducted by the Village Clerk, or her designee, and is open to the public. Candidates eligible for participation in the Lottery are welcome to attend, however attendance is not required. Results of the Lottery drawings will be posted at the Village Clerk’s Office.

Under the current COVID-19 Pandemic conditions and in accordance with the Executive Orders of the Governor of the State of Illinois, the regulations of the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the Guidelines by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), masks will be required while in the Village Clerk’s Office and a social distancing protocol will be strictly adhered to at the Lottery.
